This Delhi → Spiti → Ladakh → Srinagar Bike Expedition is designed for adventurers seeking the ultimate Himalayan biking experience. Over 15 days, riders traverse two of India’s most extreme high-altitude deserts – Spiti and Ladakh – crossing some of the highest motorable passes in the world.

The expedition begins in Delhi, where participants meet, check their bikes, and attend a detailed ride briefing. The journey initially winds through the lush hills of Shimla and Narkanda, gradually climbing into the Kinnaur Valley, famous for apple orchards and the majestic Kinnaur Kailash range.

Entering Spiti Valley, riders experience frozen lakes, snow-covered valleys, and ancient monasteries like Tabo, Dhankar, and Key. Nights are spent in local homestays, where bonfires, butter tea, and cultural interactions make the cold bearable and memorable. Photography opportunities are endless – frozen rivers, stark mountains, and starlit skies. From Kaza, the ride heads towards Manali via Kunzum Pass, then onward to Sarchu and Leh, crossing Baralacha La, Lachulung La, and Tanglang La.

In Leh, riders explore cultural landmarks like Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Thiksey Monastery, acclimatizing to the altitude before moving to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable pass. The expedition includes Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri, and Kargil, offering experiences from frozen lakes to sand dunes.

The journey concludes in Srinagar, with an optional flight back to Delhi or continuation of the ride for hardcore bikers. This expedition is extreme, challenging, and rewarding, requiring riders to be experienced, fit, and prepared for temperatures ranging from 5°C to -5°C in high passes.
