Morning (9:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On route, visit the famous temple of Kashi -Viswnath. On arrival at Uttarkashi, check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri, take a holy dip in the river
Ganga (also known as Bhagirthi at its origin). Then proceed for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Guptkashi - GauriKund - Kedarnath Drive Distance: 35 km | Trek distance: 21 km | Max Altitude: 3,583 mt
Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From there, you will start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a doli or a horse for your trek (Cost Not Included). On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay. Only basic accommodation/room is available on a sharing basis, you can take meals at your own cost.

Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptkashi Drive Distance: 35 km | Trek distance: 21 km | Max Altitude: 3,583 mt
Early in the morning (4:00 AM) go for temple darshan. After darshan, come back
to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund. Your vehicle awaits for you in Sonprayag Car Parking which will drive you back to the hotel in Guptkashi. On arrival, check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay. Reference to Helicopter service: Kindly Note: There will be some changes in the itinerary for those who are unable to get Heli service due the weather condition for visiting Kedarnath on day 06. The alternative programme for day 07 would be as follows:
Those who are unable to get Heli Service, for visiting the Kedarnath Temple, start the trek early in the morning of day 07 by pony/Doli/walk (approx 21 Kms one side), so that you can come back the same day by late evening.

Guptkashi - Badrinath Drive Distance: 200 km | Duration: 8 hours | Max Altitude: 3,300 mt
Morning (7:00 AM) after breakfast drive to Badrinath. On arrival check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay. If reached on time you can enjoy the beautiful evening aarti at Badrinath Temple.

Early morning (4.00 AM) take a bath in Tapt Kund also known as Suryakund. Then go for temple darshan, after having temple darshan come back to Hotel. After coming back, have your breakfast and take a short break before you go and enjoy the
interesting sightseeing of Mana Village (the last village before the Tibetan border). Visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charan Paduka, Bhim pul and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. After that drive to Pipalkoti, check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Rishikesh, a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. On reaching Rishikesh you'll do the Rishikesh sightseeing visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening drive to Haridwar and drop at the Railway Station and rest passenger will continue their journey to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi by Late Night.

The ideal time for Char Dham Yatra is between April and October when the weather is pleasant and pilgrimage routes are accessible. May-June and September-October are especially popular.
Get medical checkups done well in advance. Start light exercise to improve stamina. Get proper trekking shoes, woollens, walking sticks, water bottles etc. Carry necessary medicines if required.
Temperatures range from 12 to 20 degree Celsius in summer and sub-zero levels in winter. Nights are cold due to the high altitude.
You can travel by rental car, taxi, helicopter or even trek between dhams. Helicopters are the fastest but most expensive. Cars are the most comfortable option.
Wear comfortable cotton clothes and walking shoes. Sleeve shirts and full pants are recommended. Carry warm layers like sweaters, jackets, thermals, etc.
Carry valid ID cards, some cash, energy bars, medicines if required, a flashlight, water bottle, chapstick, extra batteries, power bank, walking stick etc. Make a checklist.
Get a medical checkup done before the trip. Carry any regular medications. Stay hydrated, avoid overexertion, don't consume unhygienic food and report any signs of altitude sickness.
